Measuring 37′-10″ wide x 24′ deep, the Craftsman two-car garage with loft features the signature look of the Craftsman Collection of house plans.
With the standard single gable roof & dormer over a two-car garage, this detached garage with loft has an enclosed entry with interior stairs to the upper floor.

The Exterior:
The Craftsman two-car garage with loft is a craftsman-styled detached garage characterized by its classic craftsman details.
Starting with the exterior fascia and heavy wooden trim, classic craftsman details articulate a flavour of a time gone by. With large 24″ roof overhangs, the simple gable roof form provides ample room inside while keeping the water away.
The dedicated front entry makes the presence of the loft above quite clear, and the small covered porch outside provides some refuge. The 12 ft wide trellis (or pergola) provides an additional outside parking space adding a carport to this two-car garage.
The gable roof form is broken up with a single large dormer facing the driveway, providing a layer of character to the classic form. Heavy dual-layer fascias and 5″ aluminum gutters ensure you’re new garage with loft withstand the test of time!
The asphalt shingle roofing over the dimensional framed rafter roof is quick and easy to build and will last a medieval lifetime. The attic over the loft offers some potential storage space, so a hatch is specified.
The Interior:
On the interior, you have a painted drywall finish with two parking stalls; each measuring 18′-8″ deep x 9′-4″ wide.
Access to the garage comes from a dedicated garage entrance off a 36″ wide side entrance door or through the two 8′ wide by 7′ tall rolling overhead garage doors.
The Craftsman two-car garage with loft has a finished floor-to-ceiling height of 9′-0″, thus leaving some room to amend the plans to an 8′ tall overhead door if you so choose.
Windows are placed at 42″ above the concrete floor, allowing a workbench or freezer to fit in nicely beneath.
